- My biggest challenge is going to be my soy allergy during this detox as most of the recipes call for some sort of soy (Miso soup, Tempeh, chick peas, hummus, etc.)
- A little bit of a headache today (most likely from caffeine withdrawal)
- Lost most of my energy between breakfast and lunch and had a little trouble focusing but had a huge energy spike after lunch
- Definitely had some sugar cravings and kept thinking about eating out
- Asparagus with lemon juice actually tastes REALLY good
- I already feel a little lighter and my face looks less puffy
- If you are going to do the Ultimate Reset, expect to visit the bathroom often from drinking so much water.

A good day really. A small headache but no major food cravings but there is one word that can already sum-up the horror of my detox: SALAD! It goes on forever...so many seeds...so much green stuff...but at least I have learned what salad dressing is for as it makes the salad taste just slightly better. And 20 more days of this...I can't wait to see if my appreciation for this farm food improves over the weeks. Evening dinner was great though...probably because it contained food that I like!
I did experience a notable drop in energy late in the day as I had to run a previously arranged 5K race (which they do not recommend while participating in the detox) but it's day one so how hard can it be? Well the reduced calorie intake and protein certainly showed.
Day one is over though, and I am still alive!
Here is our video blog for the day:
20 days to go! We will be weighing ourselves at the end of each week.
