1. Over the past 3 days or so, I have been ravenously hungry around 2 or 3 p.m. No amount of water has helped to make me feel less hungry. I am hoping this subsides as I go into the final week and cut grains out of my diet as well.
2. The scale hasn't moved this week since Day 8. Well, actually, I gained a pound and then lost it, so my total weight loss is still at 8 pounds (I weighed in at 202 lbs. this morning).
3. I have had to go to the bathroom VERY badly every morning around 10 a.m. The detox supplement is definitely cleaning me out and maybe making me more regular?
4. I have struggled a bit more with variety this week because I can't have soy. I have definitely wanted to quit a couple of times and started craving things like cheese and steak for the first time.

It's the end of day 14 for Kristina but my detox ended on day 10. The lack of protein and calories became too troublesome particularly with two road races coming up this week so I reluctantly (OK, I meant "eagerly") quit so I could fuel up for the races. The detox - as far as I got - did have a good effect on my body so I am pleased with this and for trying. It has also changed my palette and I am now eating more healthily. I have continued with the no alcohol and no tea/coffee part too so at least I am at day 14 for that part! Now my salads are much smaller than during the detox - wretched meal that is!
